UNICEF & Government Stakeholders Site Visit – Tasso Village

Eight months ago, we launched the Pilot of the EasySTEM server on Tasso Island. Our offline digital learning centre quickly attracted students across the remote fishing island, igniting their passion for learning, from achieving remarkable scores in exams to learning digital skills while having the world’s knowledge at their fingertips.

We welcomed the Minister of Communications Technology and Innovation and the UNICEF Country Representative to witness our progress and, most importantly, students’ progress. To wrap up their visit, the school hosted an electronic home automation competition where they showcased their creativity, with the winning team lead shedding tears of joy from accomplishment.

In that moment, it became clear: innovation knows no bounds. It thrives wherever there is a spark of inspiration and the will to make a difference. Tasso Island is not just a location; it’s a testament to what can be achieved when passion meets opportunity. If not us, then who? If not now, then when? Join us as we bridge the digital divide for every child.
